All Things Pagan

Millions celebrate New Year's without knowing its origin. Should Christians participate in its festivities?

New Year's Eve/Day is not all what it appears to be. Even if you call yourself bringing the New Year's in the Church, it still doesn't make it right and the Father highly disapproves of it! Read and study the Scriptures and see what the Most High YHWH -- Yahweh says about these pagan traditions!

Have you ever wondered/thought about what the heart symbol means? And what about Cubid? Did you know that this holiday pre-dates other people celebrated by that same name? This holiday had deep Pagan roots that no Believer should be involved with. Valentine in none other than NIMROD!

Have you ever wondered/thought about where we get our traditions for the holidays that we celebrate or why we do the things we do during the holidays. Doc Marquis gives some good information on this holiday that most people do not know about.

Millions observe Lent by abstaining from certain foods or pleasures for 40 days. What is Lent's origin, and what does the Bible reveal about it?

From the DVD Truth or Tradition by Jim Staley - This is BY FAR one of THE MOST POPULAR videos on the internet detailing the historical accounts and biblical commentary on Easter and Christmas. Thousands of years ago, as sun worship (Baal worship) increased, so did the worship of his wife, the "Queen of Heaven," Easter. We are told through this Babylonian legend that every year on "Easter Sunday" at sunrise, the priests of Easter would impregnate young virgins on the altar of Baal. Then, the next year, they would take the now three month old babies and sacrifice them on the altar on Easter Sunday at the sunrise service. They would then take the eggs of Easter and dye the eggs in the blood of the sacrificed infants. The facts are that virtually everything that is associated with Easter can be traced back to pagan ritualistic ceremonies that YHWH -- Yahweh hated. How do you think YHWH -- Yahweh feels looking down from Heaven and seeing us celebrate a day with the name of a pagan goddess, passing out stuffed Easter bunnies to the children that are picking up dyed Easter eggs, eating Easter ham on Easter Sunday morning while we attend Easter sunrise services on the exact same day that all of the sun-worshippers did for thousands of years!? The early Christians kept Passover for almost three hundred years until it was outlawed by Constantine in 325 C.E. This teaching was first featured on God's Learning Channel (GLC). You will be shocked at the details of this video and it is not for the faint of heart. DO NOT watch this unless you want to know the truth. Even if you already know the history behind Easter, this video will challenge you.

Halloween is a yearly celebration observed in a number of countries on October 31, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows (or All Saints) and the day initiating the triduum of Hallowmas, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed believers. Typical festive Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, attending costume parties, decorating, carving pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films. In Matthew 24 Jesus mentioned that in the last days many will come in his name, claiming that they are the Messiah or worse that they are Jesus Christ returned. Now for 1900 years even though there have been many false prophets which we were also warned about there hasn't really been anybody claiming to be Jesus Christ returned throughout that time.

Still turn the clock to the 20th century and we do not have any shortage of people claiming to be Jesus Christ. Many are mentally unstable but there are also many who are taken seriously and command a huge following.

One of these false messiahs has a following of 55k people. Others can account for a following in their thousands as well. Over the last 50 years we have had in excess of 30 people claiming to be Jesus Christ returned.

This talk will deal with the significance with regard to the return of the real Jesus Christ, the one who was crucified, resurrected and ascended into heaven just short of 2000 years ago. Enjoy the talk!
